For bloggers and creators who aren't rolling in tool budgets, this isn't even close. You pay once for Pin Inspector and you're done. With PinClicks, you're committing to a recurring charge every single month. And if you ever cancel, you lose access to everything.

Over two years, PinClicks costs you 10–25x more than Pin Inspector.

→ Get Pin Inspector for $47 with code PIN20

Features: What Each Tool Actually Does

Both tools help you find Pinterest keywords, research competitors, and surface the annotations Pinterest uses to categorize pins. But they go about it differently.

Pin Inspector's core tools:

Popular Keywords — Generate hundreds of keywords directly from Pinterest's autosuggest engine, plus search volume, CPC, and competition data

Top Trends — Extract trending searches from Pinterest Trends, including a full year of volume data

Pins Analyzer — Pull 52+ data points for any pin, including saves, repins, reactions, and annotation keywords

Boards Tool — Analyze any board for top-performing content and related interest keywords

Profiles Tool — Spy on any Pinterest account to see their top content and what's driving their traffic

Browse & Scrape — Surf Pinterest inside a built-in browser and extract data as you go

Media Downloader — Download pin images and videos directly to build a swipe file

Keywords Everywhere Integration — Connect your KE account for enhanced volume and CPC data

That's a lot of tool for $47.

PinClicks' core tools:

Keyword Explorer with volume data

Interest Explorer (11M+ official Pinterest interest categories)

Top Pins view for any keyword

Pin Stats tool

Account/competitor explorer

Rank tracker (25 keywords on the base plan, 5,000 on the higher tier)

PinClicks is cleaner and simpler to navigate. The Interest Explorer and rank tracker are genuinely good features. But you're paying $29–$49/month for them.

The One Area Where PinClicks Has an Edge

I'll be straight with you: PinClicks does two things really well that Pin Inspector doesn't match directly.

1. The Interest Explorer. PinClicks has a searchable database of Pinterest's 11 million+ official interest categories — the internal tags Pinterest uses to categorize users and content. Targeting these interest keywords helps your pins show up in home feeds, not just search results. It's a legitimately useful feature.

2. Rank tracking. PinClicks lets you track how your specific pins are ranking for target keywords over time. This is useful if you want data on whether your optimization efforts are working week over week.

These are real advantages. I'm not going to pretend they're not.

But here's my honest take: for most bloggers, these features don't justify paying $249+ per year vs $47 one time. The foundational keyword research, annotation data, and competitor analysis you need to grow on Pinterest? Pin Inspector handles all of that, and then some.

Ease of Use

PinClicks is easier to pick up quickly. It's browser-based, the interface is intuitive, and you can be doing keyword research within minutes of signing up.

Pin Inspector has a steeper learning curve. It's a more powerful desktop tool with eight built-in modules, and it takes some time to learn how to get the most out of it. Dave publishes tutorial videos that walk you through everything, and they're worth watching.

If you're the type who dives in and figures things out as you go, you'll be fine. If you want instant "just tell me what to do," expect a short ramp-up period.

Who Pins Inspector Is Perfect For

Bloggers and content creators who want real Pinterest data without a recurring bill

Pinterest managers handling multiple client accounts (one license, unlimited research)

Anyone who wants to do deep competitor analysis and pin extraction

People who've been burned by monthly tool subscriptions and are over it

Creators on a budget who still want professional-level data

Every Pin Inspector review I've read agrees on one thing... the data depth is unmatched for the price.

Who Might Prefer PinClicks

You specifically want the Interest Explorer and rank tracking features and you're ready to pay monthly for them

You hate desktop software and only want browser-based tools

Pinterest is your primary traffic source and you treat it like an SEO channel with a real tool budget

Both groups are valid. But the majority of bloggers and creators I work with fall into the first category, that's why I recommend Pin Inspector.

Pin Inspector Review – My Verdict: Pin Inspector Is the Better Buy for Most People

When I look at what most bloggers actually need from a Pinterest keyword tool, like finding the right search terms, understanding what's trending, peeking at what's working for competitors, and optimizing pin descriptions with real data.

Pin Inspector delivers all of it for a one-time fee that costs less than one month of PinClicks' mid-tier plan.

PinClicks is a solid tool. If budget isn't a concern and you want the cleanest interface with rank tracking built in, it's worth trying their free trial. But if you want the best value for your money, and a tool that keeps working for you for years without an ongoing charge, Pin Inspector is the better move.

→ Get Pin Inspector for $47 using coupon code PIN20

That gets you the full desktop software for Mac + PC, unlimited data access, free updates, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Pin Inspector a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay once and own it forever, including free software updates. Use coupon code PIN20 to get it for $47.

Does Pin Inspector work on Mac?
Yes. Pin Inspector is available for both Mac and PC.

How is Pin Inspector different from PinClicks?
Pin Inspector is a desktop app with a one-time price. PinClicks is a browser-based subscription starting at $29/month. Both do Pinterest keyword research, but Pin Inspector offers more raw data extraction at a fraction of the long-term cost.

Can I use Pin Inspector for client accounts?
Yes. Your license includes commercial use, meaning you can use it to research on behalf of clients.

Does Pin Inspector use the Pinterest API?
No. It pulls data directly from Pinterest's website without using the API, which means it won't face the same shut-down risk as API-dependent tools.

Is there a Pin Inspector coupon code?
Yes! Use code PIN20 at checkout to get 20% off, bringing the price down to $47.

→ Grab Pin Inspector here and use code PIN20 for $47

Have questions about which tool is right for your situation? I've tested a lot of tools — some I swear by, some I've dropped, and a few I wish I'd found sooner. This isn't a generic roundup. These are the tools I actually use to run my own Pinterest strategy and manage client accounts.

Let's get into it.

1. The Pin Coach — AI Pinterest Marketing Tools

What it is: Six custom AI assistants trained on my 9+ years of real Pinterest expertise — covering strategy, pin copy, design critique, profile optimization, analytics, and funnel building.

Why I built it: Because I got tired of watching creators waste hours Googling contradictory Pinterest advice and staring at blank Canva templates. I took everything I teach and built it into tools that do the thinking for you.

What makes it different from generic AI: These aren't random ChatGPT prompts. Each assistant has a specific job and is trained on the strategies I use with real clients — the same ones that drive actual traffic and sales.

What's inside:

Pin Copy Generator — writes SEO-rich titles and descriptions that follow current Pinterest best practices

Strategy Sidekick — turns your offers into a clear Pinterest game plan so you stop winging it

Pin Fixer — upload any pin and get a pro-level design critique with specific fixes

Profile Creator — builds a keyword-rich profile that tells the algorithm exactly who to send your way

Data Detective — walks you through your Pinterest numbers and tells you what to do next

Funnel Builder — maps out the path from first pin to paid product

My honest take: This is obviously my product, so I'm biased — but I built it because nothing like it existed. The tools I wanted for my own workflow didn't exist, so I made them.

Price: $97 one-time (lifetime access)

Meet your Pinterest dream team →

2. Canva

What it is: A drag-and-drop design tool with thousands of Pinterest templates, stock photos, and brand kit features.

How I use it: Every single pin I create — for myself and for clients — starts in Canva. I use the brand kit feature to keep colors and fonts consistent, and I batch-design pins in sets of 10–20 at a time. The Pinterest-specific templates save me from starting from scratch every time.

Key features:

Drag-and-drop editor (no design skills needed)

Huge template library with Pinterest-specific sizes

Brand kit for saved colors, fonts, and logos

Direct publishing to Pinterest

Background remover and Magic Resize (Pro)

My honest take: The free plan is genuinely powerful. I'd only upgrade to Pro if you need the brand kit, background remover, or Magic Resize features — but once you're creating pins regularly, those features pay for themselves in time saved.

Price: Free plan available / Canva Pro starts at $13/month

3. Tailwind

What it is: A Pinterest-approved scheduling and analytics tool built specifically for Pinterest and Instagram.

How I use it: Tailwind is how I schedule all client pins. The SmartSchedule feature picks the best posting times based on when your audience is most active, and the analytics dashboard shows me exactly which pins are performing without digging through Pinterest's native analytics.

Key features:

SmartSchedule for optimized posting times

Tailwind Communities for collaborating with other pinners and expanding reach

Pin performance analytics and reporting

Browser extension for quick pinning

Tailwind Create for quick pin design

My honest take: If you're pinning consistently (which you should be), a scheduler is non-negotiable. Tailwind is the one I trust because it's an official Pinterest partner, which means it plays nice with the algorithm. I've tried other schedulers and always come back to this one.

Price: Free plan available / Pro starts at $14.99/month

Try Tailwind →

4. Kit (formerly ConvertKit)

What it is: An email marketing platform built for creators — landing pages, opt-in forms, automations, and subscriber tagging all in one place.

How I use it: Kit is my entire email backend. Every freebie, every welcome sequence, every launch email runs through Kit. The tagging and segmentation features let me send the right offers to the right people based on what they've already purchased or downloaded.

Key features:

Visual automation builder

Landing pages and opt-in forms (no separate tool needed)

Subscriber tagging and segmentation

Creator-friendly pricing (free up to 10,000 subscribers)

Integrations with WordPress, ThriveCart, and most major platforms

My honest take: If you're driving Pinterest traffic and not capturing emails, you're leaving money on the table. Pinterest sends you visitors — Kit helps you keep them. The free plan is incredibly generous, and the automation builder is intuitive even if you've never set up a sequence before.

Price: Free up to 10,000 subscribers / Creator plan starts at $25/month

Try Kit →

Free Tool: Pin Headline Hero

Before we continue, if you're struggling with what to write on your pins, grab my free custom GPT. It generates scroll-stopping Pinterest headlines in seconds. No more staring at a blank Canva template.

Get Pin Headline Hero free →

5. Pin Inspector

What it is: A keyword research tool built specifically for Pinterest that shows you which search terms are driving the most engagement.

How I use it: Before I write any pin title or description, I run my topic through Pin Inspector to find the exact keywords people are actually searching on Pinterest. It also shows me what the top-performing pins look like for those keywords, so I can reverse-engineer what's working.

Key features:

Pinterest-specific keyword research

Competitor pin analysis

Engagement data for specific search terms

Exportable keyword lists

My honest take: Pinterest SEO is different from Google SEO. The keywords that work on Google aren't always what people search on Pinterest. This tool bridges that gap and takes the guesswork out of keyword research.

Price: One-time purchase

Try Pin Inspector →

6. Pinterest Trends

What it is: Pinterest's own free trend analysis tool that shows you what's gaining momentum on the platform right now and what's coming next.

How I use it: I check Pinterest Trends weekly when planning content. It shows me seasonal spikes before they happen, so I can create and schedule pins before the competition floods in. This is especially powerful for holiday content, seasonal blog posts, and product launches.

Key features:

Real-time and predictive trend data

Keyword comparison (up to 4 terms at once)

Region-specific insights

Seasonal forecasting

My honest take: This is free and criminally underused. Most creators skip it because they don't know it exists. If you only use one free tool from this list, make it this one. Knowing what's trending before it peaks is the closest thing to a cheat code Pinterest offers.

Price: Free

Explore Pinterest Trends →

7. Pinterest Analytics

What it is: Pinterest's built-in analytics dashboard showing impressions, saves, outbound clicks, and audience demographics.

How I use it: I check analytics monthly (at minimum) to see which pins are driving actual clicks to my site — not just impressions or saves. Outbound clicks are the metric that matters most if your goal is traffic and sales. I also use it to spot which content topics resonate so I can create more of what's working.

Key features:

Impression, save, and click tracking

Audience demographics and interests

Top-performing pin identification

Conversion tracking (with the Pinterest tag installed)

My honest take: The native analytics are decent but can be overwhelming if you don't know what to focus on. That's actually why I built the Data Detective inside The Pin Coach — it translates your analytics into plain English and tells you what to do next.

Price: Free (included with your Pinterest business account)

Access Pinterest Analytics →

8. Google Analytics

What it is: Website analytics that shows you exactly what happens after someone clicks your pin — which pages they visit, how long they stay, and whether they convert.

How I use it: Pinterest Analytics tells you what's happening on Pinterest. Google Analytics tells you what's happening on your site. I use it to track which Pinterest-driven pages lead to email signups, product purchases, and page engagement. Without it, you're only seeing half the picture.

Key features:

Traffic source breakdown (see exactly how much comes from Pinterest)

Page-level performance data

Conversion and goal tracking

Audience behavior insights

My honest take: I know analytics tools aren't exciting. But if you can't see which pins are actually making you money (not just getting impressions), you're flying blind. Even a basic setup with UTM parameters on your pin links makes a huge difference.

Price: Free

9. ThriveCart

What it is: A checkout platform for selling digital products, courses, and memberships with high-converting cart pages.

How I use it: Every product I sell — The Pin Coach, Secret Pinners Club, workshops, all of it — runs through ThriveCart. The one-time payment model (no monthly fees) makes it a no-brainer for digital product sellers, and the bump offer and upsell features have genuinely increased my revenue per customer.

Key features:

High-converting checkout pages

One-click upsells and order bumps

Affiliate management built in

Course hosting (ThriveCart Learn)

Integrations with Kit, WordPress, Zapier, and more

My honest take: If you sell digital products and you're using a platform that charges you a monthly fee plus a percentage of every sale, look at ThriveCart. One payment, lifetime access, and it handles everything from checkout to affiliate tracking.

Price: One-time payment (lifetime access)

10. WordPress + Thrive Architect

What it is: WordPress is the content management system; Thrive Architect is a visual page builder that lets you create sales pages, landing pages, and blog posts without touching code.

How I use it: My entire site — every sales page, blog post, opt-in page, and landing page — is built in WordPress with Thrive Architect. The drag-and-drop builder makes it easy to create pages that actually convert, and the built-in conversion elements (countdown timers, testimonial blocks, lead generation forms) mean I don't need a dozen separate plugins.

Key features:

Visual drag-and-drop page builder

Conversion-focused design elements

A/B testing built in

Mobile-responsive templates

Works with any WordPress theme

My honest take: I've tried Elementor, Divi, and a few others. Thrive Architect wins for me because it's built specifically for conversions, not just pretty design. Every element is designed to help you sell — which is the whole point when you're driving Pinterest traffic to your site.

Price: Thrive Architect starts at $99/year

The Tools I Stopped Using (And Why)

I want to be transparent — not every tool makes the cut forever.

Board Booster — shut down years ago, but I mention it because some old blog posts still recommend it. It no longer exists.

Generic AI writing tools for pin copy — tools like Jasper and Copy.ai are great for general marketing copy, but they don't understand Pinterest's unique search behavior. That's why I built purpose-specific tools inside The Pin Coach instead.

My Actual Weekly Stack

Here's what I personally use every week, in order:

Pinterest Trends — check what's gaining momentum

Pin Inspector — research keywords for upcoming pins

The Pin Coach (Pin Copy Generator) — write optimized titles and descriptions

Canva — batch-design 10–20 pins

Tailwind — schedule everything for the week

Kit — make sure my opt-in funnels are connected and working

Pinterest Analytics + Google Analytics — monthly check on what's driving real results

That's it. No 47-tool tech stack. No complicated workflows. Just the tools that actually move the needle.

Why You Need a Pinterest Content Calendar

Consistency is Key

Pinterest rewards consistency. The platform favors users who pin regularly, which means that showing up consistently is crucial for increasing your visibility.

A content calendar allows you to map out your pins in advance, ensuring that you have a steady stream of content going out even during your busiest weeks.

This consistency can lead to more engagement, better rankings in Pinterest search results, and ultimately, more traffic to your website or blog.

Seasonal Content Planning

Pinterest is highly seasonal, with users planning for holidays and popular events months in advance. A well-structured content calendar helps you stay ahead of these trends, allowing you to prepare and schedule seasonal content in advance.

Whether it’s holiday gift guides, summer recipes, or back-to-school tips, a content calendar ensures that your pins are timely and relevant, which can significantly boost their performance.

Time Management

Perhaps one of the biggest benefits of a Pinterest content calendar is the time it saves. By planning your pins ahead of time, you can batch your content creation and scheduling, freeing up time for other important tasks in your business.

Instead of spending a few minutes here and there trying to come up with ideas and pinning on the go, you can dedicate a few hours once a month to plan and schedule everything.

This efficiency not only reduces stress but also helps you maintain a consistent presence on Pinterest without the daily chore.

Preparing Your Pinterest Content Calendar

Before we dive into building out your Pinterest content calendar, it's important to lay a strong foundation. This will ensure that your calendar isn’t just a schedule of random pins but a strategic tool aligned with your business goals and audience needs. Here’s how to get started.

Define Your Business Goals

Are you looking to drive more traffic to your website or blog?

Do you want to increase brand awareness or grow your email list?

Are you focusing on promoting specific products or services?

Clearly defining these objectives will guide the type of content you create and the way you plan your calendar. For example, if your goal is to drive traffic, your calendar should prioritize pinning content that links back to your most valuable blog posts or landing pages.

Setting Your Goals

Increase Pinterest traffic by 20% in the next three months.

Grow your follower count by 10% monthly.

Achieve a specific number of repins or saves on key content.

Having these goals in mind will help you track your progress and adjust your strategy as needed.

Understand Your Audience

Knowing who you’re creating content for is key to building an effective Pinterest content calendar. If you haven’t already, take the time to dig into who your target audience is, what they’re interested in, and how they use Pinterest.

Identify Pain Points and Interests

1. What challenges does your audience face and how can you solve them with your content?

2. What are they interested in, and how can your pins address those interests?

Understanding your audience allows you to create content that resonates with them, making it more likely that your pins will be saved, shared, and clicked.

<div class="thrv_wrapper thrv_symbol thrive-shortcode thrv_symbol_6224" data-shortcode="thrive_symbol" data-id="6224" The right tool will depend on your personal preference and workflow, but here are a few options to consider:

Google Sheets: Simple, flexible, and free, Google Sheets allows you to create a customized calendar that can be easily shared and accessed from anywhere.

Trello: A visual project management tool that’s great for organizing your pins into boards and lists. It’s especially useful if you prefer a more visual approach to planning.

Tailwind: A Pinterest-approved scheduler that not only helps you plan and schedule pins but also provides insights and analytics to optimize your strategy.

Choose the tool that best fits your style, and don’t hesitate to start with something simple—you can always evolve your system as you go.

Building Your Calendar: Key Steps

Step 1: Monthly Overview

Start by outlining a high-level view of your month. Identify key dates, holidays, and seasonal trends that are relevant to your niche. These should be your primary focus for creating timely and engaging content.

Example: If it’s September, you might focus on holiday gift guides, Thanksgiving recipes, or winter fashion. (Yes, we want to be pinning seasonal content early!)

Step 2: Weekly Pinning Strategy

Next, break down your monthly overview into weekly pinning goals. Decide how many pins you’ll create and schedule each week. A good rule of thumb is to pin at least 1 fresh pin per day—aim for a mix of new content and fresh pins of your already pinned content.

Tip: Consider creating 5 new pins (the more you can create the better) per blog post or piece of content to keep your feed fresh and varied.

Content Repurposing

Don’t reinvent the wheel—repurpose your existing content to save time and increase efficiency. For example:

Blog Posts: Turn key points from a blog post into multiple pins with different images and headlines.

Social Media Content: Convert popular Instagram posts or quotes into Pinterest graphics.

Videos: Create short video pins that summarize your video content.

By repurposing content, you not only save time but also give Pinterest multiple options to promote your content. You never know what headline or pin style could take off and lead to an increase in traffic.

Automating and Tracking Your Pinterest Content Calendar

Once your Pinterest content calendar is all filled in, the next step is to make your pinning as efficient as possible through automation and tracking. This ensures that you stay consistent without needing to check your pinning schedule daily.

Automating Your Pinning Process

Automation is a lifesaver when it comes to managing your Pinterest content calendar. By creating your pins in advance and scheduling them in one session, you can ensure a steady stream of content without having to be actively involved every day.

Batching Your Pin Creation

A major key to saving time is batching your pin creation. Set aside a specific time each week or month to create and design all your pins at once. By focusing on this task in a single day, you can streamline your process and avoid the daily pressure of designing new pins.

Using Tailwind for Automation

Tailwind is one of the most popular tools for scheduling Pinterest pins, and for good reason. It allows you to:

Schedule Pins in Bulk: Upload and schedule multiple pins at once, organizing them according to your content calendar.

Optimize Pinning Times: Tailwind’s SmartSchedule feature suggests the best times to pin based on when your audience is most active.

Use Tailwind Communities: Join niche-specific communities to share your pins and discover relevant content to repin.

Tracking Your Results

Once your pins are scheduled, the work isn’t over. Tracking your results is essential to understanding what’s working and where you need to make adjustments. Here’s how to do it effectively:

Pinterest Analytics

Pinterest provides built-in analytics that give you insights into the performance of your pins. Focus on key metrics such as:

Impressions: The number of times your pins are seen. High impressions indicate good visibility.

Saves: How many users are saving your pins to their boards. This shows the relevance and appeal of your content.

Clicks: The number of clicks on your pins leading back to your website. This is a critical metric for driving traffic.

Tailwind Insights

If you’re using Tailwind, take advantage of its analytics to track the success of your scheduled pins. It provides detailed insights into engagement, reach, and traffic, helping you refine your strategy over time.

Adjusting Your Strategy

Based on the data you gather, be ready to tweak your content calendar. For instance, if you notice that certain types of pins or topics perform better, adjust your future calendar to include more of those winning elements.

Keeping Your Pinterest Strategy on Track

Creating a Pinterest content calendar is a powerful way to streamline your marketing efforts, save time, and consistently drive traffic to your business.

By setting clear goals, understanding your audience, choosing relevant content pillars, and automating your process, you can maintain a strong Pinterest presence without the daily hassle.

Key Takeaways:

Plan with Purpose: Start by defining your business goals and aligning your Pinterest strategy accordingly. Here’s how to keep your workflow balanced:

Set Realistic Goals: Define clear, achievable goals for your Pinterest efforts, such as a specific number of repins, website visits, or followers per month. This will give you direction and motivation while allowing you to track progress effectively.

Tip: Break down larger goals into smaller milestones and celebrate achievements along the way to maintain motivation.

Monitor Performance Regularly: Use Pinterest Analytics to regularly assess your performance and identify trends. This focus will help you avoid spreading yourself too thin.

Tip: Prioritize tasks that provide the most value and consider delegating or outsourcing lower-priority tasks if possible.

Bringing It All Together

We’ve walked through the essentials of crafting a Pinterest workflow that focuses on organization, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Here are a few final tips to keep in mind:

Set Clear Goals: Define specific, measurable goals for your Pinterest strategy.
A Free Pinterest Scheduler

Wouldn’t it be great if you could schedule your pins in advance and not have to pay for Tailwind or another Pinterest scheduler? Now you can with the free Pinterest scheduler and you can find it right inside your Pinterest account.

The biggest thing I see people struggling with (when it comes to their Pinterest marketing) is they’re not staying consistent. They’re not pinning consistently because they don’t have an easy plan to follow and let’s face it… sometimes, life happens.

A lot of people don’t want to pay for Tailwind or another Pinterest scheduler and I don’t blame you. I use Tailwind in addition to my manual pinning routine. but I personally like to upload my new pins directly to Pinterest first (for the following two reasons).

For Pinterest SEO – I’m able to choose my own title so I can add my targeted keywords (Tailwind would automatically pull the post title).

For brownie points – I like to think that Pinterest rewards me for logging in and using their platform.

I mean why else would Pinterest introduce their own native scheduler? Content creators have been asking for this feature for years and although it lacks certain “bells and whistles” it’s still a great alternative for those starting out on Pinterest or those that want to continue with manual pinning but need a little help staying consistent.

Features of the Pinterest scheduler:

Schedule up to 30 pins (can only schedule one pin at a time)

Schedule pins up to 2 weeks in advance

Cons of the Pinterest scheduler:

You can only pin one pin to one board at a time. And you can not send the same pin to multiple boards like on Tailwind.

You can’t schedule your pins the same day. Your scheduled time must be at least 24 hours later than when you’re scheduling from.

How to schedule a pin inside Pinterest:

Go to your profile and tap the + on the top navigation bar (in desktop)

Select the pin image for your pin and add the destination URL

Select the board you would like to pin to

Add your keyword-rich title, description, and edit your Pin as you normally would

Select Publish at a later date and choose the day and time for the pin to be pinned to your board

Your scheduled pins will show up under a tab in your profile called “scheduled pins.” You will still be able to edit these pins and/or delete them before they are published. This can make our lives just a little bit easier by saving us our precious time. And as a single mom of three busy kids, I need all the extra time I can get.

Since Pinterest is favoring new or “fresh” pins you could create a bunch of new pins and upload them into the Pinterest scheduler all at once. You could have ONE new pin go out every day over the next 2 weeks. I guarantee you’ll see an increase in traffic to your site if you start implementing this. You could see even more growth if you saved 2 new pins every day.

Batch Your Pin Images

So you could batch once a week on a Sunday evening. Sit down for an hour and create 7-14 pins for the week (or two weeks). Set up a Trello board or Airtable spreadsheet to help you gather all the info you need in one convenient place. That way you can open a bunch of tabs and just copy and paste the info over into the Pinterest scheduler.

Auto publish pins from your RSS feed

I don’t really see a huge need for this feature and the fact that it takes 24-hours to publish is a little annoying. But if you want to hook it up, here’s what Pinterest says about it on the Pinterest business website:

“Connect RSS feeds to your Pinterest business account and automatically create Pins from the content on your website. When you update your RSS feed, your content will be added to your boards as Pins within 24 hours. You can add as many RSS feeds as you want, as long as they match your claimed website. Each feed can publish Pins to a different board. If you don’t see the option to connect your RSS feed, stay tuned! This feature will be available to more business accounts soon.”

If you want to see if you have this feature available on your account, go to your settings and look for “Auto-Publish” under your claimed account. You’ll then see the option “Connect RSS feed”

There you have it, two new ways to schedule your pins on Pinterest. I’d love to hear what you think of this new ability to schedule your pins on Pinterest. Have you taken advantage of it yet?

If you’re a brand new blogger you’ve probably been wondering how you can start making money with affiliate marketing. Most big affiliate marketing programs require you to have a ton of page views per month… which is something you just don’t have when you’re just starting your blog.

But, I’m here to show you that there are plenty of affiliate programs that don’t require massive page views to start making money. And if you promote them strategically you can start making money right away. What do I mean by promoting them strategically? Well, you should write blog posts that are truly valuable and naturally lead to your affiliate offerings.

1 | Start with Courses or an eBook

This is a great place to start your affiliate marketing journey. If you took a course or bought an eBook that you got amazing results with, see if they offer an affiliate program. You could write a case study style blog post that tells your readers all about the great results you got. Include your affiliate links throughout your post and watch the money roll in.

I offer an affiliate program for people that purchase my Manual Pinning Simplified eBook and I’m also an affiliate for a few eBooks and courses.

2 | Ultimate Bundles

I love the crew at Ultimate Bundles and the amazing bundles they offer! They provide so much value to their affiliates to make sure they succeed. You’ll find affiliate training, promotional materials (like social media graphics and email scripts) so you can easily get started promoting their bundles. Click here to learn more about becoming an Ultimate Bundles affiliate.

Writing a blog post is probably the most effective way to promote these bundles but you can get started right away by promoting the bundles on Pinterest. Click here to learn how to make your first affiliate sale in just 24 hours with Pinterest.

3 | Your Blog Hosting Company

This is a great option. Many hosting companies pay a pretty nice commission to bloggers that help them spread the word. Bluehost pays commissions as high as $75 when someone signs up for hosting through your link. SiteGround also pays anywhere from $50 to $100 to its affiliates. That’s a really nice chunk of change, right! Some bloggers are making thousands of dollars a month just by promoting their hosting company.

4 | BlueChic’s WordPress Templates

I love BlueChic WordPress templates (I actually use the Isabelle theme on this blog) but I haven’t gotten around to promoting my affiliate link for them. I have been thinking about writing a post that shows people how to set up a money-making blog. This would be a perfect place to promote my hosting company as well as the BlueChic WordPress templates.

5 | Amazon Affiliates

I have to mention Amazon because its one of the easiest affiliate programs on the planet. Just set up your account and you can instantly start promoting thousands of products on your blog. It’s perfect for food or lifestyle bloggers. For example: If you’re a food blogger and you have posts that reference cooking products (think a brand new Instant Pot), you can easily find a link to that exact product and link it up in your post for people to purchase. Or as a lifestyle blogger, you can link up some of your favorite products. Easy peasy!

6 | Pretty Links

This is an amazing WordPress plugin that will put your affiliate marketing on auto-pilot. Just like magic, Pretty Links can take all of your existing links and turn them into affiliate links. They also have a tracking dashboard where you can see up to the minute details on how your affiliate links are performing.

If you’re serious about making money with affiliate marketing you should definitely consider getting the Pretty Links plugin. Click here to check out all the benefits!

You just discovered 6 different ways you can start making money with affiliate marketing. Hopefully, this helps you get started on the road to monetizing your blog. Do you know of a great affiliate program that would be a great fit for new bloggers? Feel free to share it with my readers in the comments below.
